They prevent equipment failure by tripping the scrubber system and alerting operators when:
  • air or water is unable to pass through the scrubber, and
  • the screen is blocked
To ensure the offboard scrubber system’s temperature remains within acceptable parameters, the misters used in the scrubber motors are designed to monitor the motor temperature. This allows for corrective action to be taken prior to temperature parameters being exceeded.
