CDC conducts onsite visual inspections on its product range for both underground and surface mining applications.

Our engineers and technicians ensure that air flow volumes, water and oil pressures are correct and optimised by conducting a thorough analysis of the scrubber fan assembly including the scrubber box.

A comprehensive audit report detailing all faults, with corrective action and suggested continued maintenance is issued to the customer at the end of each audit.

Scrubber fan assembly:

  • Inspect assembly for damage or wear
  • Ensure components fittings, fasteners, bolts in good order & no leaks
  • Check vibration isolator rubber bobbins
  • Check impeller for wear or damage
  • Inspect track for wear or damage
  • Inspect stator for wear, damage, looseness
  • Check for oil leaks

Scrubber box:

  • External scrubber box
  • Internal box (incl. baffle plates)
  • Fittings, fasteners (correctness & tightness) & hinges
  • Inlet duct
  • Sump
  • Screens (integrity & blockages)
  • Demisters
  • Scrubbing nozzles (incl. blockages)
  • Backflush nozzles (incl. blockages)
